Projects recently supported by the Hampshire Gardens Trust include:

Andover Trees United (ATU)

Andover Trees United (ATU) is a collaboration of local schools who take part in growing, nurturing and learning about trees through the creation of a community woodland in north Andover.

In 2011 the Trust presented the project with sets of Bulldog tools. They are put to good use!

St Swithun Wells School

St Swithun Wells Catholic Primary School, Chandler’s Ford

In 2010 advice and a small grant was given towards the development of the school garden, including lecterns which will hold information boards on plants and the outdoor environment.

In 2014 the school was the recipient of the Peter Maunder Trophy in recognition of the continuing high quality development of its outdoor learning areas.

The Valley Pre-School, Meonstoke

A grant from HGT helped fund the outdoor decking area for the new modular building transforming the learning facilities both inside and outdoors for this popular preschool.

Applemore Technology College, Dibden Purlieu, Southampton

A Garden Project, initiated by a group of students, involved the whole school in designing and creating an outdoor classroom in a bleak unused area. Students worked over the Easter break to install the raised beds which were funded by a grant from HGT.
