Caring for Hampshire’s Gardens and Designed Landscapes

The Hampshire Gardens Trust is the only voluntary organisation in the county to identify the needs and opportunities to conserve, protect and enhance the county’s rich heritage of parks, gardens and designed green spaces. We offer expert, free advice and appropriate project grants to raise awareness of the value of these special places

Find our latest news here, including updates on our latest research, conservation and development progress reports and other interesting articles on Hampshire’s parks, gardens and public green spaces and beyond.

The Hampshire Register is a research database put together and maintained by a team of Research and Recording volunteers who investigate and record the history of individual parks and gardens to identify their historic significance, record their current condition and to inform their future conservation and development.

Mailing List

The Association was formed to bring together the Friends groups of the various public gardens or green spaces which the Trust helped to create and/or support.

Our Events Team organises two programmes of events each year, providing opportunities to enjoy the beauty and character of parks and gardens, and to learn why they are of interest and value.

We welcome and value every volunteer.  Why not join us, meet like-minded people, and help make a difference?  Find out more about our volunteering opportunities here.
