Events

Our Events Team organises talks and interesting garden visits which provide opportunities to enjoy the beauty and character of parks and gardens, and to learn why they are of interest and value.

Our visits range from historic country houses to inspirational private gardens, some not usually accessible to the public, as well as specialist nurseries and schools.  We also organise talks and seminars on a variety of subjects, with opportunities to exchange news and views with fellow members.  Also popular are our social events including evening drinks and our annual Christmas party.

Details of our full events programme are only available to members, who should contact the HGT’s Administrator for a password.  However, a number of our talks are open to non-members.  These are indicated on the events listing.  Please apply using the downloadable application form.
