Thanks to the Friends of King John’s Garden in Romsey, a dovecote and two bat boxes have been installed in the garden. The dovecote has been slightly modified with tiny holes, to encourage small birds to use it. The glorious garden is part of King John’s House, which dates back to medieval times. The garden is a community garden and open to the public every day, except Sundays, from 10am-4pm. Wildlife conservation at it’s best. Something the Hampshire Gardens Trust wishes to encourage more of!
Thank you to all the volunteers who look after this well loved garden.
